Get Involved

Museum Supporters

We are looking to create a community of people who are committed to supporting and preserving the heritage of the DCLI and Light Infantry.

We hope to enable the museum to make strong links with our supporters worldwide, so that between us we can continue to share our important and unique collections for generations to come.

If you’d like to get involved to show your support you can do so in various ways.

Join our friends mailing list:

Contact us and request to join our mailing list to receive our e-newsletters, or scroll down and fill in the form at the bottom of this page (don’t forget to tick the box for your preferred mailing list)  You can learn more about our newsletters here.

Get in touch or visit us:

We are always pleased to hear from museum supporters. You can contact us by email, telephone, or if you’re in the county why not pop in for a visit?

Donate:

You could donate your time or skills to the museum as a volunteer, donate an object for us to add to the collection, share your stories and memories, or make a monetary donation to help support the museum.  As we are a registered charity, every donation is gladly received.

Projects and Fundraisers:

Get involved with museum projects and fundraisers, including our 2018 exhibition, a handcrafted tribute to the fallen soldiers of the DCLI.

Why not organise a fundraiser of your own for one of our specific projects?  We have plenty of space here at the museum, and are open to suggestions.  Get in touch with our museum director to discuss your ideas.

Leave a Lasting Legacy:

Why not remember us with a gift in your will, or with an in-memoriam donation? Your gift will help support the museum for generations to come.

Join us on social media:

The museum is on Facebook, as well as Twitter and Instagram.  We were also proud to have been awarded the 2016 TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence – If you have visited us recently and would like to leave us a review this would be greatly appreciated, and may help us to achieve the TripAdvisor ‘Certificate of Excellence’ in 2017 as well.  Leave us a review

If you have any other suggestions of ways in which you would like to get involved and support the museum, please get in touch with us.  We look forward to hearing from you.
