Cornwall’s Regimental Museum is a small independent charity (Registered charity number 1174375).
We are dedicated to preserving the heritage of Cornwall’s Regiment and the national Light Infantry collection, and telling the important stories of the men who served with them.
The coming years are both exciting and challenging for the museum, with the trustees and Director actively working on major plans to transform the museum and secure its future for generations to come.
We have just two full-time staff who are supported by many dedicated volunteers. Due to the closure of the Rifles Office in March of 2018, and the upcoming changes to the support we receive from the Ministry of Defence, we rely increasingly on generating our own income to enable us to operate the museum and care for the collections.
We are already working hard to increase our visitor numbers and earned income, and we’ve been very successful in attracting major project grants. We need to get the message out that every penny we raise from gifts and donations goes towards securing the future of the museum, caring for our collections, and telling our soldiers’ stories.
Donating is one way you can help support the museum. Every donation we receive, no matter how large or small, will make a huge difference.
