Poppy Power! Half Term at Cornwall's Regimental Museum

Join us during half term for some family friendly, poppy making fun!

We’re collecting handmade poppies for our 2018 commemorative project – Come along this half term and your poppy could feature in our 2018 exhibition! (or you’re welcome to take them home!)

We’ll have special poppy making activities taking place all week, as well as our usual family fun activities:

Play the Bugle

Fun Quiz and Trail

Military Dressing Up

Become a ‘Young Curator’

Discover Bodmin Keep, Victorian Army Keep with historic armoury and military police cells.

Young visitors (and older ones too!) can use our art cart and special craft supplies to create their own fun military medals, and can show off their creations by sharing photos to our social media pages for a chance to be featured!


Tuesday 29th May:

Poppy Making Workshop Day with Star Maker – Sara Burrows.


Wednesday 30th May:

Join Swashbuckling Cornwall to experience their new performance – The Swordstorian!


Monday 28th May-Friday 1st June inclusive:

Historic Gun Handling Sessions at 10:30, 13:00 & 14:30.


We also have a gift shop, second hand book room and refreshment area.

Parking is free or pay and display overflow parking is nearby.  Dogs are welcome throughout the museum.
